Spend all day long with my kiddos.
Saw this movie with my family:
And this movie with my oldest son:
Watched my sister get excited for her favorite "holiday"-- Black Friday, and wondered for the three billionth time how that could be someone's favorite holiday.
Got to hear funny conversations, like this one...
Son1: Did you bring home the cranberry cheese ball?
Son2: What? Cheese ball?
Mom: [Pulls out of fridge, shows Son2]
Son2: Oh! I thought that was ice cream! I was wondering why there were crackers by it...
Got an insane amount of revisions done on book 2.

Put up my Christmas decorations.
And enjoyed being a mom.
How was your week?

That sounds like a lovely vacation! Mine was pretty relaxing and I did a lot of brainstorming for the WiP. So I say overall it was awesome!
That sounds wonderful. :) I spent some good time with my family, ate as much as was physically possible in 5 days, did a read-through of my manuscript, and failed to write any essays. Also enjoyed the first good snow of the year. So, happy and largely as-planned. :)
Awww-- a happy break for you! Loved your description in pictures. That was awesome! AND you were productive. Kudos!
Sounds like a super productive weekend. How were the movies?
Great! Not much work done, but that's okay, that's what this week is for!
Sounds like fun. I can't wait to see Lincoln, though I'm going to have to go to see Bond first. We saw Red Dawn though. Much better than the original with Patrick Swayze and Charlie Sheen (and more upbeat though still sad).
I did about half that list! Sadly, revisions wasn't one of them. Glad you had a great long weekend, Peggy!
Awww. That is the sweetest post ever. Your family and your holiday sound wonderful. Thanks for sharing with us, and pass the cheeseball! :-)
Sounds like you had a great holiday! How was the Guardian movie?
Sounds like a great holiday! But now I want to know what the heck a cranberry cheeseball is! hehe
I love your new author photo btw!
Shouldn't have read this while sitting in class being hungry. ;)
Sounds like a wonderful holiday!
Thanksgiving was lovely. However, it was squashed in between two 16 hour car drives. Needless to say, no writing.
Sounds fabulous, Peggy! :) My holiday involved family, food, target practice, euchre, and a dying computer.
(One of those things wasn't fun, but the rest were great!)
yum, that turkey looks good. great that you got so much done. saw the same movie, loved it!!
Looks like your holiday was full and lots of fun! Heard so much about Lincoln I'm dying to see it.
I had a nice Thursday. Thanks for asking. lol
I don't get Black Friday either. I go, because my sisters and my nieces go, but I start at a reasonable hour..I meet them for breakfast.
That turkey looks amazing.
I want to see the Lincoln movie...
Awesome! Love the cheese ball convo. :)
We all had a five day break from school, and it was lovely! Sounds like yours was too. I will have to take my two youngest kids to see Guardians. We saw Wreck it Ralph, which was good. My hubby took my 13yo to see Lincoln, which he said was amazing.
My goodness you were productive! I had a lovely Thanksgiving too, but I have no revisions to show for it and my Christmas decorations haven't even thought about waking up from their year long hibernation :)
I want to see Lincoln. We introduced our kids to Home Alone this weekend. They now call it "The scary movie" and want to watch it all the time. (They are 5 and 3)
Great why of 'showing' us your week. I liked the photo idea and that you had fun with your family. Nice post.
