There are parts of this whole writing thing that are HARD. Some are so hard, you might be tempted to quit! Today, I'm at
Jeff Hargett's blog, Strands of Pattern, talking about
how to keep the desire to be published when things get hard. Come hang out with us!

Thanks Peggy, an inspirational post (again).
Iain is quite correct, Peggy. Very inspirational. So glad you stopped by my blog with such an encouraging message despite being so busy. You are indeed awesome!
Headin' over there now!
Heading over now! I'm up tomorrow on Jeff's blog!
Love that quote, and writing is hard :)
Great advice!
I know you're busy, but would you shoot me your blog links about how to write a query letter? (For a publisher, not an agent. I'm not planning on writing a series of books. [Unless you think an agent wouldn't mind a one-off.])
I decided to self-publish my current book because of my health condition, and time is of the essence; but I'd prefer to have a publisher's help, if possible.
You're the best! Thanks so much!
Heading over. Sounds exactly like what I need to read write now. Thanks for guesting with Jeff! :)
thanks, I'll try!
On my way, Pegasus! :)
On my way.
:D
Great advice, Peggy! I'm too stubborn to ever give up.
Enjoyed your post on Jeff's blog today. :)
That was lovely. And yes - those blasted queries! Pretty sure I'm still traumatized.
On my way. I need this today.
Excellent and inspiring post, Peggy :) And it's sure is good you stuck it out when things were hard! :)
Could use a little inspiration, so I'm heading over!
Sounds fun!
Loved your post! You had such wonderful advice. So true about how you need to be 100% sure that this is what you want to do with your life. I think a lot of people wash out early on - when their drafts get hard, when they don't feel like revising, when they rack up three or four agent rejections - because they realize that this path just isn't for them. And that's fine! May they all find different paths that make them happy. But for those who want to keep writing, this is fantastic inspiration!
